Important Message to Parents

Good day all,
 
As most of you know, the provincial government made an announcement on Monday in regards to the lockdown and restrictions in Ontario. Although the green light has not been given the message seemed positive and it would appear that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Some regions will stay in the same scenario that they are in and others will be moving to less restricted conditions. It is still difficult to say if our District and/or region will be given the OK to resume our operations. The suggested information is that there is a potential of resuming within the next two weeks but that is also not decisive. Our main goal always remains the same and it’s getting the kids back on the ice safely.
 
As our season is shorter than anticipated our treasurers are revising registration fees.  For those who have not yet paid the remainder of their registration we will be sending an email out in the next few days. For those who have paid the full season we will be issuing a refund of the difference at the end of the season. Please keep looking at our websites, Facebook page and Teamsnap for any update on the matter. RMHA and TCMHA appreciate your patience on this matter.  
 
Again, as you all know, this season has been nothing like we have ever seen before and we’ve had to constantly go back to the drawing board. We wish we could offer more information and provide definite answers but with all the uncertainties we don’t want to make any definite promises. Please know both associations are working hard to make this happen for the kids.

Comme la plupart d’entre vous le savent, le gouvernement provincial a fait une annonce lundi au sujet du verrouillage et des restrictions en Ontario. Bien que le feu vert n’ait pas été donné, le message semblait positif et il semblerait qu’il y ait une lumière au bout du tunnel. Certaines régions resteront dans le même scénario dans lequel elles se trouvent et d’autres évolueront vers des conditions moins restreintes. Il est encore difficile de dire si notre district et / ou région sera autorisé à reprendre nos opérations. L’information suggérée est qu’il y a un potentiel de reprise dans les deux prochaines semaines, mais ce n’est pas non plus décisif. Notre objectif principal reste toujours le même et c’est de ramener les enfants sur la glace en toute sécurité.
 
Comme notre saison est plus courte que prévu, nos trésoriers révisent les frais d’inscription. Pour ceux qui n’ont pas encore payé le reste de leur inscription, nous vous enverrons un e-mail dans les prochains jours. Pour ceux qui ont payé la saison complète, nous vous rembourserons la différence à la fin de la saison. Veuillez continuer à consulter nos sites Web, notre page Facebook et Teamsnap pour toute mise à jour à ce sujet. RMHA et TCMHA apprécient votre patience à ce sujet.
 
Encore une fois, comme vous le savez tous, cette saison n’a rien de comparable à ce que nous avons jamais vu auparavant et nous avons dû constamment revenir à la planche à dessin. Nous souhaitons pouvoir offrir plus d’informations et fournir des réponses définitives, mais avec toutes les incertitudes, nous ne voulons pas faire de promesse définitive. Sachez que les deux associations travaillent fort pour que cela se produise pour les enfants.
