Important Message to all

Over the last few days, EOHU has posted a few memos that were directly involving minor hockey in our District and the possibility of having to go into a system of 10 players max. on the ice. Questions were then sent to EOHU about clarification and they finally revised the information and we have the confirmation that as of today, the hockey associations in our District will not be affected by the most recent changes. In other words, we will keep moving forward with our "maximum of 24 players/coaches on the ice" system that is already in place.

 

With the pandemic situation, we want to remind everyone that it is crucial that you, the parents, keep reminding the kids/players that they are doing a phenomenal job so far. We truly mean that. Kids/coaches have to keep respecting the rules with masks, hand sanitizing and social/physical distancing on and off the ice. If we have made it this far with no positive cases, it is because of all of you guys and your help and consideration. Let's not start slowing down and get lazy with the rules. We truly appreciate your help through this complicated time.

 

RMHA and TCMHA are working non-stop to insure that the kids are playing hockey and enjoying their time with us. With the pandemic constantly evolving, we hope that you will understand the planning involved.

Au cours des derniers jours, le BSEO a publié quelques mémos qui concernaient directement le hockey mineur dans notre district et la possibilité de devoir entrer dans un système de 10 joueurs maximum sur la glace. Des questions ont ensuite été envoyées au BSEO concernant des clarifications et ils ont finalement révisé l'information et nous avons la confirmation qu'à partir d'aujourd'hui, les associations de hockey de notre district ne seront pas touchées par les changements les plus récents. En d'autres termes, nous continuerons d'avancer avec notre système «maximum de 24 joueurs / entraîneurs sur la glace» qui est déjà en place.

 

Avec la situation pandémique, nous voulons rappeler à tout le monde qu'il est essentiel que vous, les parents, continuez à rappeler aux enfants / joueurs qu'ils font un travail phénoménal jusqu'à présent. Nous le pensons vraiment. Les enfants / entraîneurs doivent continuer à respecter les règles avec les masques, la désinfection des mains et la distance sociale / physique sur et hors de la glace. Si nous sommes arrivés à ce point sans cas positifs, c'est grâce à vous tous, à votre aide et à votre considération. Ne commençons pas à ralentir et à devenir paresseux avec les règles. Nous apprécions vraiment votre aide pendant cette période compliquée.

 

RMHA et TCMHA travaillent sans relâche pour s'assurer que les enfants jouent au hockey et profitent de leur temps avec nous. Avec la pandémie en constante évolution, nous espérons que vous comprendrez la planification impliquée.
